Opera is a dramatic mergence of performances by singers and musicians. Together their performances tell a tail in a magical way which creates a magic in the theater leaving an obvious, lasting influence on the heart and soul of the audience.

The types of Opera singing
The opera is an Italian word which means ‘work’. The literal meaning of the word opera suggests a combination of chorus singing with solo singers, actors, and dancers. The words of the opera are called Libertto. Several opera artists have written their own librettos which are performed even in today’s opera houses. The opera singing style can be classified in two types: Recitative and Aria.  The recitative style usually does not involve any melody while Aria involves melodies to support the emotional actions of the story. Duets, trios, and other ensembles including choruses are also involved to create influential music.

The opera history is very old and hundreds of artists emerged which created a magical effect with their voices.  The modern opera emerged in 1990s which produced famous names like Cecilia Bartoli, Placido Domingo, Jane Eaglen, and Renee Fleming. Ensemble groups also emerged which made influential marks in the modern opera music industry. These groups created some of the most poetic, ethereal opera music.
